GENERATE challenge

Character Designs for this year's GENERATE challenge. Took me all of the 24 hours alotted to get these guys done. If I had to do it again, I'd definitely get the exploratory sketches out of the way before tackling the turnarounds. Overall, I was glad to have participated this year!

Horse Lineup

Horses of the old west. For this assignment, we drew 5 horse "characters" meant to depict their riders' personality and status in the old west. If you don't feel like guessing, there's the breakdown:

The first one - Morgan Horse, belongs to US Cavalry officer.2nd - Mustang, Comanche warrior3rd - Quarter, Farmer4th - Shetland pony, Wild West show pony5th- Tennesse Walker, banker

Commission Drawings

Characters I drew for a friend who commissioned these drawings.
Viva (top image) looks like a meek girl, but she's actually a serial killer born from a family who kept her hidden for a long time. The stains on her sleeves and dress hems aren't dirt. The fur and clasps are a mark of high status in her community.
Lykke (bottom image) is a mischievous halfling druid. She's aways looking to pilfer loot to add to her collection of shiny things. There's a glimpse of a metal D-ring sewn onto the back of her outfit, as party members will have her spelunking caves.

Love this series, and Bolin's a sweetheart.

Story's pretty basic; guy waking up his roommate. First page is a cover page, as was required for the final project. Had fun inking the faces!
