Hey guys, long time no see! Finally have something I felt was worth posting! This was the final comic for my Enviornments class last quarter. After the portfolio review with Skottie Young , I put more time into the thumbnails before moving onto inks, which streamlined my process.
I've wanted to do a comic involving the plot from the song The Devil Went Down to Georgia for awhile. Something about the prince of darkness coming back to get the soul that got away struck me.
Character Designs for this year's GENERATE challenge. Took me all of the 24 hours alotted to get these guys done. If I had to do it again, I'd definitely get the exploratory sketches out of the way before tackling the turnarounds. Overall, I was glad to have participated this year!
